A multidisciplinary art director and designer with a passion for media, politics, global culture, and storytelling. I recently joined Foreign Policy as their creative director overseeing print, digital, and branding, in Washington, D.C.

Previous to this, I was a 2013 fellow at Code for America in San Francisco, design director of Newsweek where I lead the creative team for the last print issue of the magazine, an adjunct professor at the School of Visual Arts teaching a senior year portfolio thesis class, and associate art director of Print.

In 2009, I was a recipient of the Art Director’s Club Young Guns award, given to 50 emerging creatives from around the world. I have been invited to judge in numerous design and illustration competitions, and my work has received notoriety from the National Magazine Awards, the Poynter Institute, the Society of Publication Designers, AIGA, Communication Arts, I.D. magazine, and the Type Directors Club, among others. Most recently, my work has been published in Designing News by Gestalten (September 2013).

I'm currently working on a new site with updated work and projects to launch in early 2014. In the meantime, you can find me on Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and not-so-often on Flickr, Svpply, Pinterest, and of course, email.
